About
Pash Galbavy and Marty Landa have Masters’ Degrees in Communication Studies. Their thesis’ focuses on interpersonal relations in groups, appreciative inquiry, and self esteem. They trained extensively in using the Person-Centered Approach in groups with Peggy Natiello, a prodigy of Carl Rogers--considered the father of humanistic psychology. Pash and Marty have initiated and facilitated various short and long term groups in Australia and America. They are also co-creators of the UnMasKit!, a first of its kind environmentally friendly mask making kit.
PASH GALBAVY
Pash was introduced to mask making by Los Angeles psychologist Liza Hughes, who utilized the Voice Dialogue methods of Hal and Sidra Stone, with mask work. Pash honed her mask making skills by training with artist and master mask maker Liz Learmont, in Sedona, AZ. She studied expressive arts with Natalie Rogers at the Person Centered Expressive Therapy Institute in Northern California. She also studied a variety of alternative art, dance, and movement forms including butoh, contact improvisation, 5-Rhythms, and Authentic Movement. She teaches mask making, contact improvisation and expressive movement. She was a member of the original Sedona Playback Theater troupe, and MENding Dialogues theater group.
She is also a massage practitioner, writer, graphic designer, and fine art and artistic figure model.
MARTY LANDA
Marty’s passion and expertise is in group process and he facilitates creative expression and other groups. He is a multimedia and video artist. He has taught digital video production. He has produced a live, interactive, computer, boardroom presentation and employee orientation video for Paramount Parks, and a documentary about men’s issues called Beyond The Stereotype: Sex, Success & Vulnerability.
Marty is a certified computer electronics technician and offers virtual, remote-support, Internet, Macintosh computer consulting to his clients.
