Mask Making: Tips

For a realistic looking mask, these steps are especially important to do after
plaster cloth is applied to the face.

1

Create slack in plaster cloth

With nose holes ALWAYS aligned on nostrils, firmly pull plaster cloth (not skin!) slightly away from face to create slack between the eyes, on either sides of nostrils, and between lips and chin.
2

Use slack to contour

Use slack to mould cloth contours and define crevices around eyes, nose & mouth. Smooth with damp fingers to decrease wrinkles.
