Humanity Reclamation Project
Spring 2016, Building Bridges at Sedona HUB, Sedona, AZ
with photographer James Peterson
In this presentation, Pash brings masks to life as the archetypes that are encountered and embodied on an interpersonal journey into adulthood and across on our planet. The Rebel, Pleaser, Prostitute, and Saboteur are a few of the characters that incarnate during her struggle to be at home in her body and in the world. Opposing forces vie for control of her mind and spirit as she tries to escape from disowned aspects of herself before ultimately working to reclaim what has been lost, stolen, discarded or forgotten. In doing so, issues that are faced by many in our Western Culture are touched upon. The Project offers hopet hat a way back to wholeness can be found by learning to listen to our own inner calling and the calling of our planet and its inhabitants, however unfamiliar their voices may seem. This performance was part of Building Bridges, an event series in Sedona that celebrated connections through empathy, awareness, art, and action.
