Humans & the Environment

Fall 2019, West Sedona Elementary School, Sedona, AZ

This 3-part mask making and movement workshop for 6th grade students at West Sedona Elementary School was created to highlight studies of humans interacting with their environment in the Stone Age. Students first made masks representing various aspects of their studies. They then decorated their masks and brought them to life in a final presentation to the class. The project was part of the City of Sedona sponsored Artists in the Classroom program.
